We stopped in Rogers for fast food on the way up to the cabin yesterday evening. I snapped this photo from the parking lot.

Vivid sunset sky filling most of the frame, crowded with streaky, rippled clouds lit in glowing orange, peach, and coral against patches of dusky blue and purple. The clouds darken to deep slate on the upper right, while the horizon below glows brightest in yellow-orange where the sun has just set. Along the bottom edge, a roadside scene is silhouetted in black: tall curved streetlights, utility poles with sagging power lines, traffic signals showing red, a large road sign with a curved arrow, a box truck and a car, leafy trees on the left, and a cluster of bare, spindly trees near the center. I posted it on BlueSky and Mastodon, and hence it is temporarily also visible on my Latest weather pixels page, but I wanted to capture the HDR version here.
